Picture Pages - Changing the background and header?
I get numerous emails
asking for help on this subject so I'm hoping that this
new tutorial will help everyone out.
You need to login to Featurecart eg. www.yoursite.com/store/setup.asp
[change "yoursite.com" to your actual domain
name]
Then click on the "Configuration"
link in the left hand menu.
When that page loads, scroll
down to the Mode 4 Section.
Click on the Picture Pages
link>Click on the Upload Logos, banners and backgrounds
link.
{If you don't already have
your current images/logo on file on your computer, you
can get the images from your site, save them to a new
Folder in your My Documents, then use the 'browse' option
in the Picture Page section to upload your logo, banners,
backgrounds etc as you want for your page. If on your
site, you have right click on images disabled, with
your webpage open, go up to 'View' (in your browser
top menu navigation window - third in from left) then
go to 'Source'. The HTML coding for your page will appear,
you will then be able to find the links to your graphics
withing the HTML. The link to your graphic will look
something like this:-
<img src="http://www.yoursite.com/fpdb/images/Theme0/imagename.gif">
etc Highlight this link using your mouse and copy it
by right clicking your mouse once you've highlighted
it and then paste it into the address bar in your browser
window, click the GO button and the image will appear.
You can now right click and save this image to the folder
you created in your My Documents. }
When finished uploading
the images/graphics, save the changes you've made and
preview your picture page.
If you are operating your store in Mode 4,
you will also need to do the following:-
* Login to Featurecart
* Click on 'Configuration' from the left hand menu
* In the MODE 1 section, click on the link for
Master Settings
* Scroll down when the page loads to the heading 'Themes'
* Under the 'Use Themes' title, select 'NO' from the
drop down menu
* Scroll to the bottom of the page and 'save changes'
